I can't believe that Evan is 2 weeks old. It is amazing how much he has changed in such a short time. I took him to the doctor yesterday and they said everything looks good. He is a healthy, happy little guy.
Here is a little info about our 'little man' at 2 weeks.
Stats from the doctor:
• 21 inches long (75%)
• 7 lbs. 15 oz. (50%)
• 30.5 cm. head measurement (50%)
• Starting to be more aware of the world around him and focusing on people while they are holding him.
• Really working his neck and is already trying to hold up his head on his own.
• Getting a little more demanding.....he wants to eat when he wants to eat, no more patiently waiting.
• Nicknames: little man, little buddy, buddy, mini derek
• Giving his eyebrows a rest and isn't scowling quite as much.
• Finally figured out pooping. He has realized that pooping a couple times a day is so much better then a MAJOR explosion once every 2 or 3 days.
• I'm sure I'll totally jinx this by typing it, but he is an AMAZING sleeper. At night, he sleeps for 4 hours at a time. He gets up around 3 o'clock and then not again until around 7 o'clock.
