We had a great Christmas. We headed to Tremonton and spent the weekend at Grandma and Grandpa Lasley's house. We had a huge sleepover with Shayna and her family and it was so fun to have everyone together. We stayed up way to late every night, played Mario on the Wii until we had blisters on our thumbs, built block towers, had talent shows and constantly stuffed our faces.

CHRISTMAS EVE
Christmas Eve wouldn't be complete without the new pajamas and a picture in front of the Christmas tree. I love how this picture perfectly represents my kids right now. Syd is going through a super silly/crazy faze and LOVES doing bunny ears. Abby isn't taking Syd's new faze very well and is always getting super frustrated with her. And little Evan is just hanging out, super chill.
Here are all the grandkids. Aren't they a handsome group?

CHRISTMAS MORNING
The girls were glad that Santa was able to find them and loved everything they got. I loved that we got to sleep in until 7:30.
Abby asked for her usually.....a SURPRISE. At first she wasn't sure what Santa was thinking when he gave her an electronics kit, but once she got a little help from Grandpa and found out she could put the pieces together and make all sort of cool things like an AM radio, she got super excited. She also loved her new sweatshirt and the four elephants she can add to her collection.
Syd, who had a daily changing Santa list, couldn't quit jumping up and down when she saw her very own makeup kit. Everyone loves a caboodle, especially if it is full of 'real' makeup and brushes. She also loved her Build-a-Bear kit and Sister necklace from Abby.
Evan was happy to just chew on the wrapping paper but did seem to like his new trucks, bath toys and Glow Worm.
Derek was probably more excited then the kids when he got his new gun. He has asked and asked for years and I finally caved and surprised him with it. He says he had an idea, but I can't imagine he thought I'd go to the gun counter all by myself and pick it out.....but I did, background check and all. As you can tell from these photos, Derek was also excited about his new head lamp and spent most of the morning with it on.
As for me, I just looked and don't have one picture with me in it. I guess that's what happens when you are the photographer. I was very spoiled with a new lens, some jewelry and a diaper bag.

It was a great Christmas weekend. I loved everything about it.
