Poor Pacifica

Three days after returning home from Culver, Derek and I decided to join our neighbors on a little camp-out in Manti. Sydney was staying in Tremonton with Grandma and Grandpa and Abby was still at camp, so it was just Derek, Evan and me.

Sadly we didn't make it to the camp-out. Instead we took a 5 hour round trip from Lehi up the canyon and back home again. 

While driving up the canyon the Pacifica starting making horrible noises and running terribly. We were barely able to get off to the shoulder of the road before it totally lost all power and refused to start again. Luckily we were well prepared for the 2 hour wait for the tow truck and pulled out the camping supplies and had a little picnic in the shade of the mountain.

I guess if you HAVE to break down, doing it while your car is full of camping equipment is IDEAL!
