My challenge from Abby to blog "Everyday in May" is complete. Hallelujah! (This blog no longer sucks!!!)
I'm not going to lie; there were many many nights at about 11:00 PM that the last thing I wanted to do was sit down at the computer. (Right now I have a 101 degree fever and my bed is calling my name.) But with all challenges in life, once it's complete you're glad you did it. I've walked into the office several times with the blog pulled up on the screen and witnessed my kids giggling or smiling over something I'd written. Every time I call my parents my dad comments about something he loved on the blog that week or a photo that made him laugh out loud. It has forced me pull the camera out more often and document all the little moments I usually over look. But most of all I've got a small snapshot of life in the Kopp house in May 2011. Complete with typos and blurry photos.
And wouldn't you love to have the same thing???
So, I'm challenging you my friends and family and readers. Do you have a blog that suck? (If you aren't sure, I'm sure Abby can take a look and let you know.) I know there are a couple of you that I sneak a peak at regularly and see photos from Christmas of 2009.
So here's the deal. Starting tomorrow you take the challenge to blog 'Everyday in June." (sorry it doesn't rhyme.) It doesn't have to be a lot, but it has to be a post every single day, including Saturday and Sunday. Something that happened that day. Something you don't want to forget. Something you wish you could forget. A photo that made you smile. It all counts. I promise you think you'll always remember...but you won't.
And here's the best part....there are prizes!!! Look at how excited Evan is.
I'm willing to do a little mini photo shoot for each and every person that completes the challenge. That means I get to torture you or someone you love for 30 minutes behind my camera. Then I'll edit and give you a disk of the 10-15 best shots.
So just leave me a comment and let me know you are in and I'll spend the next 30 days loving you documenting your life.
Any takers?
