I've started this blog post about 20 different times, but every time I end up erasing what I've written because it is never right. No matter what I say it always falls completely short in explaining how amazing Ashley is and how much we love her. I don't even know what to call her...she isn't just a sitter or a nanny, she's so much more... she's 'Our Ashley.'
Ashley has been watching our kids for close to 5 years and is basically a member of our family. I honestly have no idea what is going to happen when we finally scare her away. She is my right-hand-man. She does homework, runs carpool, plays barbies, makes cookies, watches Sesame Street, buys presents for birthday parties, takes kids to the dentist, does dishes, jumps on the tramp, breaks up fights, reads stories, sweeps, stacks legos, and so so so much more. There really isn't anything she isn't willing to pitch in and help with. She makes it so things run smoothly and don't fall completely apart around our house.
She loves and supports my kids and in return my kids absolutely adore her. They are constantly asking me if it's an "Ashley Day!" Evan is always calling her "MamaAshy."
I was so sad I didn't have a photo of Ashley with the kids to post today, until I remembered the photo-booth photos. You can tell a lot about someone and how much they care for your kids when you look through a couple hundred photos of them together making funny faces and crazy poses. I just love the look on Evan's face. He sure loves his 'Ashy."
And the rest of us do to!!

What a cool post. I want an ashley, she really is the BEST!
