I just spent the last 2 hours reading my old blog posts. I have come to the realization that I have a HORRIBLE memory and I'm so glad I've gotten so many sweet moments documented. Even though some of the entries are only a couple of months old, I've already forgotten so much. Tonight I've smiled, I've giggled and I might have even gotten a little misty eyed. I can't imagine what this will all mean to me when I'm gray haired and really wrinkled.
I recently came to the conclusion that I was over the blog. No more posts. But after tonights little trip down memory lane I'm more committed then I've ever been. I know I've said this before and then proceeded to fall off the wagon, but I've decided it's all about getting back on, time and time again.
If I didn't have this blog I don't think I'd always remember how hard I laughed when Evan put together this ensemble all by his self on Saturday and then insisted on going outside to play. Toy Story pjs. Elmo slippers. Striped scarf. Green hat on backwards.
And I'd hate to forget how horrible of a cook I really am. This was a super easy recipe for making brownies in your waffle iron. As you can tell....it didn't turn out perfectly. We almost just threw the whole iron away it was so bad. At least the batter was tasty.
And the best reason to keep posted to my blog....it will make my dad happy!

I made that same mistake with the waffle iron and brownies. Everyone made it look so easy, but mine was a disaster. We threw our waffle iron out as well.

Welcome back. I missed you. Abby told us about the brownies vs. waffle iron battle and how happy she was to eat the batter. Love it! And your pictures are gorgeous as usual.

I'm SO glad you told us those were brownies on the waffle iron! When I first looked at it, I thought it was ground beef!! I got this awful feeling in my stomach.
Adorable pics of the kids. I think you should let Even pick out his clothes ALL the time.

Oh what a face in that last picture. He makes those faces just like my youngest did. So cute! We went to get those old fashioned pictures taken when my kids were younger and my youngest son, Riley, didn't like the lady that was telling him what to do and trying to get him to smile with a pink feather duster. He threw a little fit and made this face and the male photographer stepped in and snapped the picture. The picture turned out so cute. I will have to post it to my blog tomorrow. Hopefully I can find it on the computer.
