Last weekend was pretty close to perfect.
It started off with a NO WORK + HANG OUT WITH DEREK day! Every month at work we do a team building activity. We've done all sorts of things like bowling and go-carting, but this month was skiing for Paper CoterSKI Day.(Get it Paper Coterie, Paper CoterSKI.) It was an absolutely beautiful day at Snow Basin. The sky was blue, the sun was shining and the wind wasn't blowing. My kind of skiing. It was even more perfect because Derek came along as an honorary team member. At the end of the day the cold, wind and snow started blowing in, but that was okay becuase we hit the road and had a delicious burger at the Shooting Star Saloon.
Grandma and Grandpa Lasley also came to visit for the weekend. It was great to just hang out and relax. On Saturday we played games, read books, went swimming, did a little shopping, showed grandpa the wonders of the ipad, watched movies and enjoyed a tasty Cafe Rio dinner. Sunday, after church, we had family home evening, played more games, had ipad competitions, ate more food, and laughed and laughed and laughed.
Looks like a good time was had by all. Miss you guys and can't wait till May to see everyone again!
